I started working at Elbit Systems about 30 years ago, as a student at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Over the years I’ve watched Elbit grow into a strong, leading high-tech company.

Volunteering in the community
We are an integral part of the community and are active in hundreds of projects, in various fields, all over the country. Mostly, we promote technological education, activities with Holocaust survivors, support for farmers, distribution of food baskets during the holidays, and more. And in hopes of encouraging the spirit of volunteerism, the first four hours are on us.

Contributing to the environment
We invest in activities and projects because we love the environment and try to be considerate of it.
We have significantly reduced Elbit’s fuel consumption, by encouraging the transition to electric, hybrid, and plug-in vehicles. We set out to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve energy consumption through the integration of solar panel systems, which are being installed in our production sites, nationwide.

Promoting workforce diversity
We believe in equal employment opportunities and have initiated several projects, that we are very proud of, within a variety of communities - for example, integrating people with disabilities, and individuals from ultra-orthodox and Druze communities into Elbit. ‘Babushka’ - our flagship project promotes gender equality in the field of engineering – in high schools, academia, and industry. ‘Atidim’ - This project allows engineering students from peripheral communities to integrate into the company.
