System Engineer - Observation Systems

We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to join our team at Sderot site. Our team is dedicated to designing and building state-of-the-art observation systems that combine a variety of sensors, smart binoculars, and specialized technologies—some of the most advanced in the infantry world. Your contributions will directly impact the future of military operations and make a real difference in the field

Lead the development of cutting-edge observation and targeting systems, incorporating advanced hardware and software technologies, from initial concept to final delivery

Collaborate with and inspire multidisciplinary teams, including managing subcontractors and ensuring seamless integration

Define critical system requirements, conduct surveys and testing, and oversee integration efforts that push the boundaries of technology

At least a bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering, Electronics, or Physics

Minimum of two years’ experience in system engineering within a systemic, multidisciplinary program in the field of electro-optics

Knowledge and practical experience in developing electro-optical systems

Experience in technical management and leading engineering processes across matrix teams (budget and schedule management), motivating and driving team success—an advantage

Experience with tenders and writing technical proposals—an advantage

Familiarity with military systems development—an advantage

Exposure to operational content within tactical systems, infantry, and special forces—an advantage

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously—an advantage

Strong systemic vision, excellent teamwork, and leadership skills

Creative problem-solving and independent work capabilities

High-level proficiency in both Hebrew and English
