Lead QA Engineer

Location: Raanana, Israel
Reports to: VP R&D

About Synch:

We are a startup born and raised inside Elbit Systems and now flies on its own.
We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our fast-growing company to create a new QA team within the organization.

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on QA Test Leader to take full ownership of quality assurance across the Synch platform.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is both technically skilled and leadership-oriented

Responsibilities:

Lead all QA activities for Synch’s web, mobile (iOS/Android), and backend products
Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated)
Define and implement QA strategy, methodologies, and tools
Build, mentor, and manage a growing QA team
Introduce automation frameworks and CI/CD processes
Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams
Track and report quality metrics to management

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in software QA, including at least 2 years in a lead or managerial role
Proven hands-on experience with manual and automated testing (web and mobile)
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks
Experience with REST APIs, load testing tools, and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
High level of English (Hebrew is an advantage)
