we are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to join our fast-moving company
Synch is a new approach to enterprise communication. It is a life-saving product, engineered 
out of necessity during the Corona period and now used by United Hatzalah, hospitals 
.seaports, critical infrastructures and more in Israel and around the world
Synch is a solution for immediate and smart communication, that enables immediate and 
secure communication for enterprises and SMBs. It offers PTT communication over common 
cellular network (PoC), enhanced with Voice, Video and Map activated services, integrated into 
the business operational flows, thus bringing people and devices (IoT) into group

About the position
We're seeking for an enthusiastic DevOps engineer with a strong IT and 
Networking background who loves working with cutting-edge technology and isn't 
afraid to dive into the heart of our product. This comes together with a customer 
facing role, working intensively with Synch customers for deployment projects 
and customer support. You will join a team of professionals who are rapidly 
changing the landscape of immediate communication. As a member of our 
DevOps team, you will share the responsibility of managing and overseeing 
numerous deployments, both in cloud environments and on-premises solutions.

:Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design, setup, and upkeep of advanced CI/CD pipelines for smooth software 
.delivery
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, focusing on scalability, security, and performance
• Working directly with our customers for solution deployment projects and customer 
.support
• Automate complex tasks using scripting and tools for efficient operations
• Monitor systems proactively, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Drive containerization with Docker, Kubernetes, and enhance production setups.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform or 
CloudFormation.
• Apply your Linux OS expertise to manage server environments effectively.
• Collaborate across teams to define infrastructure needs and align with development 
goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends, evaluate new technologies, and enhance our DevOps 
practices.

:Qualifications
• Relevant education, certifications, and relevant practical experience.
• Experienced with large scale SaaS platforms on production environment
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC and EKS.
• Skilled in creating CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Python, and shell scripting.
• Skilled and knowledgeable with security technologies and frameworks.
• Strong with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
• Linux OS administration skills for effective server management.
• Strong understanding of DNS, TCPDUMP, CDNS, SSL, Git, Firewalls and networking 
concepts (VPC, subnetting, VPNs, etc).
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional or CKA are a
