We are looking for a Physics Student to join our R&D team in Rehovot, focusing on research and development in the field of Silicon Photonics
This position offers a unique opportunity to work on advanced industry research projects with flexible working hours to accommodate academic commitments

Responsibilities

Setting up laboratory systems for photonic device characterization
Designing photonic devices using commercial simulation software
Conducting experiments and measurements, analyzing results, and writing reports
Performing simulations and theoretical analysis in comparison to experimental results

Requirements

Master’s or PhD student in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Optics, or a related field with at least one year of studies remaining
Background in optics, photonics, lasers, or a related field
Hands-on laboratory experience
Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis
Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities

Advantages

Familiarity with Silicon Photonics
Experience with simulation tools such as Lumerical or Comsol
Knowledge of photonic device fabrication and testing methods
