C++ Software Developer - Network Simulations

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior C++ Software Developer to join our Radio Department in Netanya and contribute to the development of cutting-edge simulation technologies for MANET (Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks)

As part of the team, you will work on large-scale projects that shape the future of battlefield communications, enabling data, voice, and video services for networks containing dozens to hundreds of radios in tactical environments. You'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and validating MANET protocols using advanced simulation tools, contributing to a product that makes a tangible impact

Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance network simulation products to model MANET systems and behaviours under tactical conditions

Design, develop, and optimize algorithms, focusing on the MAC layer

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate simulation insights into product development

Analyse and validate MANET protocols to ensure robust performance in real-world conditions

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (M.Sc. is an advantage)

Proficient in C++ software development

Proven experience in designing and optimizing algorithms, especially for the MAC layer

Familiarity with OPNET Modeler, OMNET++, or similar network simulation tools (advantage)

Knowledge of Python, with a focus on writing efficient and maintainable code
