The Optics Group in Elbit Systems' Aerospace Division is at the forefront of designing advanced optical systems, including head-mounted augmented reality systems with diverse optical capabilities, as well as optical design for integrated systems that combine cameras, detectors, and more. The group is seeking an experienced optical designer who can join the team and lead cutting-edge developments in optical technology.

השכלה

Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

MSc or PhD – an advantage

ניסיון מקצועי

 3years professional experience in optical design and engineering
Hands-on experience with optical design software such as CODE V, Zemax, LightTools
Strong knowledge of geometric optics, physical optics, and optomechanical integration
Proficiency in designing and analyzing complex optical systems including projection and imaging systems
Experience with tolerance analysis, stray light analysis, and thermal/structural effects on optics
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and material selection for optical components (glass, plastics, coatings)
Experience in design for manufacturability (DFM) and working with vendors/suppliers
Familiarity with scripting or programming in Python, MATLAB, or VBA for design automation or data processing
