We are seeking a talented and driven Program Manager to lead a cutting-edge missile defense system program, one of the most advanced and complex initiatives in the defense industry. This groundbreaking project integrates various divisions across Elbit Systems and is poised to shape the future of missile defense.
As the Program Manager, you will manage the program from end to end, ensuring milestones are met and that everything works seamlessly. You will work in a matrix structure, coordinating hardware, software, and firmware development processes, while overseeing technical teams and ensuring alignment with the overall program goals
As part of the role:
Lead complex, multidisciplinary programs, from proposal stage through to final delivery, ensuring timely execution and meeting all technical and business milestones
Guide and manage engineering teams across hardware, software, and firmware domains, ensuring smooth collaboration and high-quality outcomes
Act as the primary point of contact with customers and subcontractors, writing contract documents and managing negotiations
Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to ensure the program is aligned with the company's goals and the customer’s needs
Oversee the preparation of responses to tenders and technical proposals, both in Israel and internationally
Support the integration of cutting-edge technologies into a unified, high-performance system for missile defense applications
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electronics, Software, or related fields)
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus
At least 5-10 years of experience in managing cross-functional, complex technological programs, preferably in the defense industry
Strong technical management experience with an ability to lead and guide engineering teams within a matrix structure
Proven experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams and working through complex technical challenges
Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance strategic vision with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Background in IR (Infrared) or similar systems is an advantage
Familiarity with the defense industry in Israel and abroad is a plus
The role requires occasional travel abroad
