IR System Engineer

Elbit Systems is an international high-technology company engaged in a wide range of programs worldwide, primarily in the defense and homeland security arenas
We develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land, and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security, and commercial applications

We are looking for an IR System Engineer to join the ISTAR & EW Division

The role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary system engineering team, leading development projects, and ensuring system
architecture meets customer requirements

Responsibilities

Lead system engineering activities for IR system projects
Design system architecture, structure, and simulations
Define system requirements and coordinate with hardware, firmware, and software teams
Develop and execute system tests to ensure compliance with customer needs
Collaborate with local subcontractors

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Science preferred)
Master’s degree in Engineering – an advantage
At least 3 years of experience in system engineering for multidisciplinary systems
Experience in IR systems or signal processing – an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent technical writing and communication skills
High-level proficiency in English
