Algorithm Engineer

We are looking for an Algorithm Engineer to join the ISTAR & EW Division

The Radar Unit is a growing and innovative business unit that provides advanced radar solutions across multiple domains within Elbit

Responsibilities

Develop creative solutions for challenges in radar technology
Conduct applied research and develop advanced algorithms
Write simulations, assess performance, and define and analyze experiments
Support the transition of algorithm designs to implementation and integration into projects
Apply AI-driven solutions to enhance operational radar systems

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics (Master’s degree – a significant advantage)
Strong background in signal processing and parameter estimation
Experience in algorithm development and simulations using Matlab/Python
Proven ability to conduct independent research and quickly learn new concepts
Previous experience in R&D and integrating algorithms into operational systems – an advantage
Experience in radar technology and algorithm development – a significant advantage
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
High-level proficiency in English
